Ideally a project would start with the documenting of the site, taking photographs from all sides, and with a keen eye for important details. Sometimes databases like the local government, or Google Earth and Apple Maps are used to recreate current or older "versions" of a certain site (for example a childhood home, exactly in the state it was in during that time). If that doesn't do the trick - there will be another way, we'll make it happen.
